Howard Alumni & Friends:

We are pleased that you are interested in the Howard University Alumni Club of the Research Triangle. I invite all area alumni and friends of Howard to join us in:

* Promoting Howard University, alumni participation through volunteerism
   and financial support for the University.

* A closer fellowship among local alumni, our community and the current
   student body.

* Serving and supporting the university in the advancement of higher
   education.

* Keeping up-to-date about alma mater, its problems, needs, plans and its
   progress toward the realization of its goals.

* Recruiting students to Howard University.

* Donating and raising scholarship funds for students to attend Howard
   University.

We strive to maintain the rich legacy of our beloved Howard University, one of achievement and leadership in the arts, civil rights, medicine, engineering, communications and so many other disciplines. Many of our alumni assume important positions of leadership in the Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary and surrounding areas in diverse fields, deeply engaged in the process of change and well-armed with our Howard University education.

Please help us reach our goals by sharing your talents, time and recommendations at our quarterly meetings that include lunch, all within 2 hours.
